α,ω-羟基聚(二甲基-甲基乙烯基)硅氧烷/聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯共混物的制备、硫化及表征

摘 要:以过氧化苯甲酰为引发剂,使甲基丙烯酸甲酯在α,ω-羟基聚(二甲基-甲基乙烯基)硅氧烷(PDM-MVS)中进行自由基聚合,制备了PDM-MVS/聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)共混物,对共混物进行室温硫化得到硅橡胶,研究了硅橡胶的物理机械性能和微现形态.结果表明,随着PDM-MVS中乙烯基质量分数的增加,共混物的黏度逐渐增大;由PDM-MVS/PMMA共混物制备硅橡胶的物理机械性能明显优于α,ω-羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷/PMMA共混物制备的硅橡胶;制得的硅橡胶具有微观相分离结构,PMMA分散相均匀地分布于PDM-MVS连续相中,两相的相容性良好.

Preparation,vulcanization and characterization of α, ω-dihydroxy-poly (dimethyl-methylvinyl) siloxane/poly(methyl methacrylate) blends

Abstractα,ω-dihydroxy-poly (dimethyl-methyl-vinyl) siloxane/poly (methyl methacrylate) (PDM-MVS/PMMA) blends were prepared by radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate in the presence of α,ω-dihydroxy-poly (dimethyl-methylvinyl) siloxane (PDM-MVS),using benzoyl peroxide as initiator.Silicone rubbers were prepared by vulcanizing the PDM-MVS/PMMA blends at room temperature.The mechanical properties and microphase structure of the silicone rubbers were studied in detail.The results showed that the viscosity of PDM-MVS/PMMA blends increased with increasing vinyl content in PDM-MVS.The silicone rubbers based on PDM-MVS/PMMA blends exhibited superior mechanical properties with respect to the silicone rubber based on PDMS/PMMA blend.The silicone rubber based on PDM-MVS/PMMA blend had microphase-separated structure consisting of PMMA domains uniformly dispersed within a continuous PDM-MVS matrix.The compatibility between the two phases was fairly good.
